We are so glad you stopped by

You want to do it, right? Before you had kids, you loved to travel and check out new things, right? So did we. My husband and I have road-tripped up and down both coasts and across the States. He taught me to drive a manual car on the autobahn. Our smallest dog has been to more places than a lot of the people we know. I’m not bragging, I’m just saying… we used to be fun, right? I’m guessing you might know the feeling. When our beautiful daughter joined the team, we hit a little hiccup. Suddenly, traveling and finding adventure became hard. It required a lot of planning, supplies, and diapers. I’ll admit it, we withdrew a little. But then, we moved to the gorgeous DMV area and reignited the excitement of doing stuff.

We thought to ourselves, why did we ever stop? We need to prioritize joy for our whole family. Becoming parents shouldn’t have stopped us, but it sure would have helped to have a little advice on how to navigate. Thus, this blog is born. We are here to be your wingmen. We’ll check out the destinations, big and small, and give you the full scoop. Consider us your research partners— we will endure the screaming car-ride and eyerolls from Karens whispering about why we brought our toddler to a winery (true story).
